General Information and Policies

 

Thank you for your interest in our center. Our staff will be pleased to welcome you with a tour of our facilities and answer any questions you may have about our program. If you are considering our program for your child, we hope this information will be helpful.

 

Rising Star Child Care is licensed for 142 and serves children from newborn to 12 years of age. Business hours are Monday-Friday 6am to 7:30pm.

 

DOCUMENTATION

Before your child may start we will need the following on file:

  •   Emergency Card

  •   Enrollment forms

  •   Tuition Contract

  •   Transportation Agreement (If Applicable)

  •   $75.00 Non-refundable Registration Fee Per Child

  •   Parent Contract & Orientation Form

  •   General Medication Form

  •   Immunization Record (Only a medical exemption signed by a physician will be accepted in place of a complete immunization record.)

 

 

TRANSPORTATION

At this time we provide transportation to the following schools:

Iditarod

Tanaina                                

Larson

Cottonwood

Full day programs are offered for school age children on in-service days and holidays if they are already enrolled in our before & after care program.

 

 MEALS AND SNACKS

Here at Rising Star we participate in the USDA food program. We provide breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack which is included in the price of tuition. Whole milk is served with meals to all children under 2 years and 1% milk is served to all children over 3.
